NORMA was founded in Åmotsfors, a small town in Sweden, 120 years ago. We now enjoy the trust of the hunting and shooting community worldwide. All our actions aim to ensure that this trust is strengthened when you use one of our products.
Our headquarters and production are located in Åmotfors, Värmland, 400 kilometers west of Stockholm, about 270 kilometers north of Gothenburg, and 130 kilometers east of Oslo. We have approximately 240 employees and manufacture around 30 million cartridges in over 100 different calibers for hunting and sport shooting.

The wildlife density is exceptionally high, and hunting and fishing are an integral part of Swedish culture. Hunters are passionate, confident, and generally accepted. They are known for their professional and ethical behavior, as well as their carefully aimed shots, a commitment that results in healthy animal populations. The ideas and expertise of Swedish hunters have evolved into what Norma represents today: One of the leading manufacturers of superior ammunition – highly respected worldwide.
